I was born on November 15th 2000, and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I grew up watching family or friends capturing images with their flip phones or polaroids. Photography started to catch my attention in my freshmen year of high school. I received my very first camera at 15, and now at the age of 20, I have improved with a new camera with brand new equipment, such as Speedlites or Tripods. I have created Emily Cotto Photography to help young photographers like me who are still learning. I also wanted to share a big portfolio to the public to keep my path going. I would say follow your dreams, but if you found your dream, make it come true.
